Bio

Jessica was born in Brooklyn, NY but spent most of her childhood years in the suburbs. She grew up taking dance classes and participating in school plays but it wasn't until high school that she starting thinking about performing as a possible career. It was there that she joined the drama club and was bitten by the acting "bug."

After high school graduation, Jessica went on to New York University's Classical Voice Performance and Music Education program. Music has always been a huge part of her life, from singing to dancing to playing violin. She spent two years at NYU and then finished her BA at The New School. In between universities she studied acting at the famed Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre. During these schooling years, Jessica tried her hand at various jobs- always working hard to keep up with the expensive NYC lifestyle. She's sold Broadway theater tickets, promoted Broadway stars' rock music albums, bartended, dog-groomed, helped to maintain New York's history at the Landmarks Preservation Commission, and even guided New York City tour buses!

In her non-performing life, Jessica is also an animal rights activist, a vegetarian, a huge movie and TV buff, an avid reader, constantly going to see Broadway and Off-Broadway shows, and has a special spot in her heart for New York City and its culture and history. She lives in Manhattan with her wonderful hubby and fabulous dog. For Jessica, the past few years have been filled with working harder than ever towards her goal of being a working actor and singer. She's done several NYC theater productions and independent films. As a proud member of Actors' Equity and AFTRA, she is constantly out there pounding the pavement at auditions, in rehearsals, and on set.
