It started as a snowflake and turned into an avalanche. Since last year, this whole writing thing has morphed into Jessica's full-time passion. She finished her first novel, a chick lit fantasy tentatively titled A Matter of Life and Death in 2009 and is currently working on her second novel, a young adult contemporary fantasy. She was accepted into The New School's prestigious Creative Writing MFA program and is now hard at work writing, reading, and learning all about the amazing world of children's literature. Jessica has been enjoying a very busy summer. Between auditions and trips to the beach, she's been working on a few very exciting writing projects. She's spent the summer working on her first novel, which she hopes to have finished by the fall. She is also blogging about Top Chef, Project Runway, and many other televison shows for OMGWTFTV, a brand-new TV show blog site. Jessica is currently in the pre-production stage of her new short film, Mortals. Jessica wrote the screenplay (her first official foray into the writing world!), is co-producer, and will be starring in the film, alongside some of New York's most talented actors. It's being shot entirely on location in New York City. Keep checking back for updates on Mortals and on all of Jessica's other upcoming projects!
